Paweł Paćko, PhD, DSc
PROJECT LEADER

Graduated from AGH – UST (MSc, 2009; PhD, 2012; DSc, 2016). Research stays in Sheffield University, The Department of Mechanical Engineering, UK; Centre for Ultrasonic Engineering, Strathclyde Univeristy Glasgow, UK; Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Kowloon, Hong Kong; Nonlinear Mechanics Lab, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Main research topics related to elastic waves in solid structures but also biological structures, and their applications (acoustic emission, diffraction tomography, detection and localization techniques, mathematical and numerical modelling). Recently working on numerical simulations of elastic wave propagation in complex nonlinear media. Author of the cuLISA3D software (www). Recent research interests focused on nonlinear wave propagation and applications to SHM and NDT.
