The meeting was devoted to current works and progress. The main topic concerned theoretical aspects of the lattice-spring model for wave propagation in the context of nonclassical nonlinearities. Subsequently, the Project Team discussed selective guided wave propagation in plates and rods. Theory and application of dispersion and excitability curves for different media has also been discussed due to the fact that spectral characteristics are mandatory for appropriate numerical modeling. The meeting has been concluded with additional insights and plans for the future work.
